Verstappen has unveiled a special helmet design to commemorate the final Dutch Grand Prix as Zandvoort will be dropped from the Formula 1 calendar after 2026. The final running of the event will also be a sprint weekend.
Max Verstappen’s special helmet is predominantly white with blue details. The designs style is known as ‘Delfts Blauw’ , and is meant to look like a traditional Dutch art style. The art style has also previously been used on the trophies at the event.

The design has previously been used on trophies, such as in 2025.
The circuit was first used in 1952 through to the mid 80’s. It then had a 35 year break and returned to the sport in 2021. Verstappen won the first three Grand Prix when the circuit returned, with Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri winning the 2024 and 2025 races respectively. Max is the only Dutch F1 driver to win his home race.
