The number of rounds stays the same with 24 for the fourth consecutive year. Portugal’s Portimão and Turkey’s Istanbul Park will make their returns to the calendar to make up for the exit of the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort. The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya moves onto a rotational deal with Spa-Francorchamps.

Bahrain will host a four-day pre-season test on February 24-27 before hosting the season opener in March. It will be a sprint weekend with the Saudi Arbian Grand Prix a week later.

Australia has been demoted from being the season opener and will be the third round in 2027, taking place in early April. Albert Park will also host a sprint, as will the next race in Japan. China will not but it follows the week after Japan to round off an early triple header.

Miami once again host in the first weekend of May. Canada and Monaco follow with both hosting sprint races. This is the first time Monaco will be a sprint weekend.

The Portuguese Grand Prix will slot in mid-June and will be followed by the British Grand Prix, which will also host a sprint. Austria will move to the round after Silverstone.

Belgium and Hungary will take place back-to-back before the summer break.

Monza will be the first weekend back after a five week break and will host a sprint. The Spanish Grand Prix will be a week later in Madrid.

Azerbaijan, the returning Turkey and Singapore make a triple header before the next triple header in the Americas.

Las Vegas will host and then will be followed by a double header in Qatar and Abu Dhabi. Qatar and Abu Dhabi will both be sprint races to finish the season. For the first time the season finale will include a sprint.

Overall, this means that there will be 10 Sprint weekends in 2027. This is an increase from the 6 we are used to. The season will also open and close with a Sprint weekend.
